Spycops Inquiry report for 26 April 2021 (T1P2 Day 4)

Posted: April 27, 2021

Yesterday’s hearing in the Inquiry was the first round of evidence in this set of hearings, with
Diane Langford and Norman Temple both talking about being in groups that
were targeted by spycops in the early 1970s. Both were live streamed. As well as
opening protest by campaigners outside the hotel where the Inquiry was taking place, Police Spies Out of Lives also took an ad van around
London to highlight the issue.

Our write up of the day [strongly recommended!] is online at:

Today (Tuesday), we will be hearing from two early 1970s undercover officers: HN45
‘Dave Robertson’ who infiltrated Maoist groups in north London and who
featured prominently in Diane Langford’s evidence, and HN347 ‘Alex
Sloan’ who Norman Temple spoke on in the Irish National Liberation
Solidarity Front. As the officers have restriction orders over their
real identities they will not be live streamed but have a rolling
transcript.
